 MSYSA Soccer Spotlight: U18 South Lyon Sting

 U18 Boys South Lyon Sting - Coached by Mike Coppola

Congratulations to the U18 South Lyon Sting for earning MSYSA Soccer Spotlight Team of the Month Honors! The boys on this team have excelled on the soccer field and in the classroom. On the field, they have made several MSYSA State Cup Quarterfinal & Semifinal appearances, they have racked up multiple Michigan State Premier Soccer Program championships, and they have been crowned champions in four different MSYSA sanctioned club tournaments. In fact, the only thing more impressive than their on-field accomplishments is their off-field accomplishments. In their academic lives, every single player received scores of 24 or higher on their ACT tests, including three who scored 32, 33, and 34. Furthermore, over 80% of the team had GPA’s of 3.6 or higher. It’s obvious that the players on the team have developed strong work ethics in all areas of their lives, and that they are all destined for great things. Best of luck to the boys as they enter college and new chapters in their lives!
